Believing new things can feel hard and uncomfortable, ESPECIALLY when you don’t have past evidence to support your new beliefs… but that’s exactly what hoses you when you set out to do things you’ve never done before… such as lose weight, or keep the weight off. 

 

We wrestle with belief because we’re looking to past evidence to support our new beliefs, but when it’s not there, and we have evidence against our new belief, it feels extremely uncomfortable. 

 

It’s not a problem; we’ve simply never learned how to believe new things on purpose, even when we have evidence to the contrary.
