One of the most common misconceptions about weight loss is thinking we just need more willpower. 

And on the surface, it sounds logical. 

If I have more willpower → THEN I can stick with my diet → THEN I can actually lose the weight. 

The problem is that willpower fades, especially with dieting, and we seem to have less and less to work with. 

Not to mention, if we need willpower to lose the weight, we'll need willpower to keep it off. 

And because it's not unlimited and designed to only work in really small, short bursts, it never lasts. 

Willpower won't solve your weight loss struggles. 

Willpower won't solve your binge eating or emotional eating.
