It’s so easy to talk about pregnancy weight loss, but we don’t often think about how we gained the weight in the first place. 

 

Many in our society today use excuses and justifications to eat more than you need during pregnancy… thoughts like “baby wants a cupcake,” or “I’m eating for two.” Or maybe you dieted so frequently that being pregnant was like your free hall pass to eat anything and everything you wanted. 

 

In today’s episode, I take you behind the scenes of my 25 pound pregnancy weight gain in 2020 and explain what I was doing and thinking that allowed me to only gain 25 pounds. 

 

There’s no judgement or shame if you gained more (or less), but we need to get honest with ourselves if we want to lose weight in a healthy way (physically and psychologically).
